♣ Indivisual Private-room Guest House: Chaconne Karuizawa is a small Western-style guesthouse. ~We kindly ask for your understanding~
While we may not offer the same level of service as a luxury hotel, we invite you to enjoy your stay at our guesthouse as if you were staying at a friend's home.

A space with the warmth of wood: The building of Chaconne Karuizawais richly crafted with abundant use of wood and ingenuity.

♣Location next to Karuizawa Outlet: Chaconne Karuizawa is conveniently located away from the main street yet within walking distance of the station. It's just a 4-minute walk to Prince Outlet. This makes it perfect when guests have extra time or want to split up with friends to explore Karuizawa at their own pace.

♣A convenient yet nature-surrounded guesthouse: Located just off Prince Street, it's surrounded by greenery and very quiet. Wake up to birdsong in the morning. While buildings tucked away in resort areas or deep in forests can make evening shopping trips or moving around during bad weather difficult, our guesthouse allows you to come and go freely at any time. For guests arriving by car, parking for seven vehicles is available right in front of the building.

♣The owner of this guesthouse has many years of experience performing violin and piano within orchestras and fellow musicians' communities. The owner also values interacting with people who passionately pursue their hobbies and has hosted foreign travelers for homestays. Hoping to meet more guests visiting Karuizawa for travel, the guesthouse opened in 2016 and continues to operate today.

♣For musicians, we offer the use of the dining room daily between 10:00AM thru3:00PM. A piano rental is available. The space can also be used for music retreats. Please inquire for details.

We have instruments such as a piano and a violin. If you want to try out playing, we will assist you how to play.

♣Chaconne is a style of classical music composition. Its origins date back to 16th-century Europe. The most famous example is Bach's Chaconne.
This song is one the owner worships and lives by. Though it seems heavy at first glance, it gives you courage.
